From a review: Herbstein & Van Winsen: Civil Practice of the High Court of SA
The more one uses this publication, the clearer its value becomes. It has been said that "It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows" (Epictetus). As far as IÕm concerned, the fifth edition will benefit even the most experienced of litigators. I congratulate the authors on their achievement in delivering a product of this quality. The fifth edition is without doubt a work of great importance and can be highly recommended.
