Andriette Jooste studied Consumer Science and Librarianship at the University of Stellenbosch.
In the erarly eighties she worked for five years as assistant food editor for Sarie She now has her own cooking school.
Andriette is married to Dries. They have a daughter, Magrietjie, and a son, André.
They own a guest house near De Aar.
